Every chiropractor you meet at any of the Advanced Chiropractic Services offices provides the same thorough and innovative care. All are trained to transform painful bodies struggling with limitations into healthy, mobile bodies.
As Chris Wertin’s sister, Dr. Mary had plenty of exposure to the benefits of chiropractic. She also witnessed how much chiropractic care helped her and her family. She decided to become a chiropractor herself to help people achieve improved health.
She then graduated from the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City and began practicing using the Activator Method of chiropractic adjusting in 1983.
In 2007, she decided to join her brother, Dr. Chris Wertin, at Advanced Chiropractic Services. She relocated to Lawrence, Kansas, and helps care for patients at the Advanced Chiropractic Services office on Wakarusa Drive.
She also loves spending time with family and friends, being outdoors and taking care of her many plants and flowers.
Dr. Kyle Wertin graduated from the Cleveland Chiropractic College of Kansas City in 2013 and then returned to Lawrence to join Advanced Chiropractic Services.
Dr. Kyle has completed the highest level of training in the Activator Technique of Chiropractic which means he has received the Advanced Proficiency rating in this technique. He has also pursued extensive training in the application of kinesiology tape to support and retrain muscles anywhere in the body.
He loves helping patients of all age groups, from newborn babies to senior citizens and everyone in between. His goal is to help his patients achieve better health and freedom from pain so they can enjoy happier and healthier lives.
On his own time, he loves playing soccer, basketball, football and kayaking, meeting people and traveling.
Dr. Jessica Wertin grew up in Shawnee, Kansas, completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.
She was introduced to chiropractic care by Dr. Eric Wertin, who would later become her husband. She knew immediately that she had found her calling and quickly moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to attend Logan College of Chiropractic. There, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Jessica also pursued extensive training in the treatment of scoliosis and sports-related injuries, plus studies in nutrition. She then returned to Advanced Chiropractic Services where she is delighted to help patients live happier and healthier lives. She continues to study to gain expertise in rehabilitation procedures.
As the oldest of Dr. Chris’ three sons, chiropractic has been part of Dr. Eric’s life since the day he was born. It was easy for him to see how much chiropractic care helped people, so he decided to become a chiropractic himself.
Dr. Eric attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, receiving a Bachelor’s of Human Biology degree and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. As part of his curriculum, he made an intensive study of sports injury repair, nutrition and physical therapy to rehabilitate injured muscles. It’s his mission to assist others to have a better, healthier life that’s free of pain.
Outside of the office, Dr. Eric loves to hunt and fish in the Kansas countryside.
